Winter can be a hit or miss down south but now, it certainly feels like winter has finally arrived! Even though it's freezing outside, that doesn't mean you have to stay bundled up and hidden! It's time to get up, get out, and get hot by staying cool! It's never too early, or too late, to start preparing for the warm weather and Dr. Z can help! - Get that hot bod with CoolSculpt.

What is CoolSculpting? CoolSculpting is a non-invasive treatment that reduces fat from areas of the body
using freezing temperatures. Harvard University scientists noticed some children got dimples in their
cheeks when they ate popsicles, later realizing that the popsicles were freezing and eliminating small pockets of fat cells. The idea that cold can target fat cells, without damaging skin or surrounding tissue, was the insight behind Cryolipolysis®, the proven science on which the CoolSculpting procedure is based. 1

Where do the fat cells go? Once the treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), your body processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells. Once the treated fat cells are gone, they’re gone for good.2

Who? Where? Why?  If you have areas of fat that are holding strong against diet & exercise, then this procedure is for YOU! - but understand that it is not a weight loss solution for obesity. The FDA has cleared CoolSculpting to address the flank areas ("love handles" or "muffin top"), thighs, abdomen, and chin/neck ("double chin").2

In clinical studies, cryolipolysis was shown to reduce subcutaneous fat at the treatment site by up to 25% after one treatment. Improvements were seen in 86% of treated subjects. At 73%, the patient satisfaction rate is higher than with other technologies used for noninvasive lipolysis. Most patients see 20-25% results after the first treatment.1 Multiple treatments are typically suggested, based on your body type and desired goal.
